At first, I thought North Park Noodles was referring to something Korean, but wow, I was dead wrong. North Park Noodles is actually a Chinese restaurant, despite having 'noodles' in their name, their best sellers are mostly chicken dishes. My girlfriend brought me to eat in North Park, because she craved some of their Boneless Lemon Chicken. The branch here in Banawe is quite spacious, especially because of their high ceiling. The only problem (as with most Banawe shops and restaurants) is their parking. In any case, I ordered their Lechon Macau over Fried Rice, since it already combined two of my favorite things off the menu. I tasted the Lemon Chicken first, because I know she could finish a whole order by herself. The taste was very true to its name, but there was something about this dish that tasted really good, which justified her craving for it. The serving for the lechon Macau was really huge! I have a heavy heart (literally) saying that I finished the whole rice bowl, because it could really be good for two. The fried rice was properly seasoned, and cooked with egg and some veggies. The Lechon Macau was cooked just right - the meat was tender and the skin was crunchy. The price is a bit on the high side, but stick with the best sellers here (and the lechon macau!) and you'll get your money's worth.
